At GMV we want to share some tips for the common use of the elevator in buildings. We give you a summary of the prevention measures against the spread of COVID 19.
The Spanish Federation of Elevator Companies, FEEDA, has launched an animated video suggesting that citizens use the elevator responsibly and with all safety measures applied.
When travelling by elevator, it is recommended, as far as possible:
- Travel alone, or do not occupy more than 30% of the cabin surface, to have some distance between people.
- Pay special attention to contact areas, such as buttons, push buttons, handrails, etc.
- Take extreme cleaning measures with disinfectant gels in areas such as the elevator door and cabin buttons.
- Do not touch your face immediately after exiting the elevator, but clean your hands properly beforehand.
- After each trip, hand washing and/or use of 70% alcohol gel is recommended.
By following these tips, you can continue using the elevator as a means of transporting people and objects in these days when, more than ever, health and safety are our priority.
