These plans, in their different forms, provide citizens with financial aid that facilitates the acquisition of efficient domestic equipment as well as the replacement of building elements, whether elevators, facades, windows, boilers or roofs. All of this results in lower energy consumption.
Since the implementation of the renovation plans in 2006, approximately 3,120,000 household appliances have been replaced, including elevators, achieving annual energy savings equivalent to the consumption of 700,000 Spanish homes.

In a community of neighbors, consumption can reach around 7,000 kWh annually.
The grants awarded amount to up to 3,300 euros per elevator, with the requirement that the improvement of the service means a reduction in energy consumption of at least 35% and that this amount does not exceed 35% of the budget.
