As an example, we will briefly explain how some of these Kits work:
- Soft Starter Optimization Kit:
Every time the lift has to start, the motor makes a great effort which eventually causes wear. This Kit reduces these intensity peaks during start-up, eliminating mechanical and electrical stress, preventing the motor from burning out and thus protecting the motor. As a result, the useful life of the hydraulic equipment is extended while its performance is improved.
- Cooler Optimization Kit: when an elevator makes multiple daily trips (high traffic) the fluid can overheat and cause the elevator to stop, putting it out of service. To prevent the fluid from overheating, the cooler is responsible for maintaining the fluid at a constant temperature, thus allowing the number of starts per hour to increase. Consequently, the hydraulic equipment can work without forcing the elements and therefore increases the durability of the entire assembly.
- Micro-levelling Optimization Kit: in loading operations, for example, when heavy items are introduced into the cabin, it tends to descend a few centimetres. To prevent this from happening, the Micro-levelling Kit is responsible for maintaining the level between the cabin and the floor. This function could also be performed by the main motor-pump unit , but each time it acted it would consume a large amount of energy and cause unnecessary wear. On the other hand, Micro-levelling has a very low consumption, and manages to avoid motor wear, thus increasing its durability.
