TÜV Italia certifies the NGV A3 as complying with EN 81-2:A3; Machinery Directive 2006/118/EC; EMC EN 12015; EN 12016; EN 81.41; and EN 81.70.
Framework of EN 81-2:A3 Regulation
On 1 July 2011, the new EN 81-2:A3 standard came into force, regulating safety for the construction and installation of lifts. As regards hydraulic lifts, this new standard aims to specify the safety rules for passenger and/or freight lifts in order to reduce the risk related to maintenance, emergency or user operations.
