The aim of the conference is to reflect on and propose sustainable urban and architectural models with a minimal ecological footprint, in such a way as to achieve sustainable construction in the 21st century, by formulating proposals for cities and buildings with zero CO2 emissions, in a first phase, and zero environmental impact as an essential objective for the future.
This initiative has the support and collaboration of public institutions such as the Junta de Castilla y León, the Valladolid City Council, the University of Valladolid and the Construction Institute of Castilla y León. In addition, the two Official Colleges of Architects in the region have developed an excellent technical programme, which includes speakers of recognised national and international prestige both in the architectural field and in other areas related to sustainability.
