Nearly 35,000 elevators will have to pass the technical inspection in the Canary Islands

Self-supporting structure: Exterior elevator in a block in the La Pau neighborhood (Bcn)A new regulation that came into force in September requires a technical inspection of a fleet of almost 35,000 lifts to comply with the new regional regulations. Of this number, 4,500 lifts will have to undergo the inspection imminently.

Victor Rubio, director of the training department of the Metal Federation, stated that the elevators that have not passed the technical inspection in September will be temporarily paralyzed until obtaining said certification.
