Do telescopic pistons comply with the new 81.20 regulation?
On April 20, 2016, the new directive 2014/33/EU came into force, which increases the safety of elevators through changes in the available technology as well as in the rules for the design, manufacture, distribution and assembly of elevators.
The next directive (2014/33/EU) will come into force in April 2016. This will require lifts installed from that time on to comply with a series of requirements that will affect their levelling.
