TÜV certifies the NGV A3 as complying with EN 81-2:A3

This past March 2011, the NGV A3 electronic valve group it received certification from the TÜV notified entity, in accordance with EN 81-2:A3 regulations. This, which will come into force in July 2011, requires security measures stricter according to section 9.13 “protection against uncontrolled movement of the cabin” where it requires that there be a double support with self-control that prevents uncontrolled movement of the cabin with the floor and cabin doors open. This support must be subject to standard examination. Furthermore, the means of protection are considered safety components and, therefore, must comply with Chapter F9 of the Regulations.

For its part, GMV has designed the NGV A3 electronic valve group, which with CE certification, has as standard a double redundant self-controlled safety system complying with the specific sections of EN 81-2:A3.

Thanks to theelectronic technology in the GMV valve group , with the possibility of using biodegradable fluid , comfort performance is optimized with adjustable speeds that reach 1 m/s and improve the installation's consumption by 20% to 40%. Furthermore, through a programming console, the regulation and maintenance of the group is facilitated, offering greater comfort and safety to the operator .
