Improve your productivity. 4 keys to connecting the motor of a GMV hydraulic elevator

The correct connection of the motors used to operate elevators, hoists, lifts, etc. is as important as choosing the right motor for each installation.

Before connecting it, we must check:

  1. The characteristics of the motor we are going to use (in all GMV central units this information is identified above the terminal box).

engine tag

2. The online voltage at the installation.

Depending on what we have, we must make the appropriate connection.

Below we show the wiring diagram of the motors used in GMV power plants:

Example: If the line voltage in the installation is 400 three-phase. In case of having a direct start in a 230/400 motor, it will have to be connected in star, but if we have 400/690 it will be connected in delta.
