ToggleLocked in the elevators
This problem has already caused more than 100 reports of people being locked in, and it only concerns one elevator company. Although it has an easy solution (unplugging an electrical device), it is annoying, especially when someone is trapped in the elevator.
Depending on the type of lift installed, there are different solutions: If a person is trapped in a lift, the fire brigade must be called to rescue them. On the other hand, if it is a hydraulic lift, the cabin would go down to the first floor and the doors would open automatically.
Solution to hydraulic lift jams
In accordance with the new regulations affecting contracted power, the hydraulic components company GMV created the so-called Easy Kit Efficiency Central Units that reduce the contracted power and the consumption of the elevator in those hydraulic installations already in operation, reducing in some cases up to 40% of its consumption.
