ToggleWhat type of forklift are we talking about?
Features of a freight elevator
- The elevator must be operated from a panel located on any floor (door button panel), and each floor must have a button to redirect to the other floors.
- The drive panel must have an emergency stop button that allows the forklift to be stopped at any time.
- Hydraulic system: The valve group gives the signal for the motor to pump the fluid from the central tank so that it reaches the piston, and thanks to the pressure of the fluid the chassis moves. These forklifts usually have 2, 4 or 6 pistons depending on the load to be transported, in the same way it is usual for this installation to require a double central. For this type of installation the most common pistons are the telescopic ones with mechanical synchronization (by chains).
- Each forklift determines the maximum permissible load (from 500 Kg to 5000 Kg approx.).
