ToggleInstalling a hydraulic lift in renovations or modernizations

The current economic situation, which has led to a decline in new construction, has put hydraulic lifts, located in facilities with up to 10 stops, in the spotlight of the sector, since by concept, hydraulic lifts, in addition to offering solutions for new construction, are specialised to act in both renovations and modernisations .
This is due to its high level of adaptability and flexibility: it does not require a complex structure or much space, it could be installed with a minimum space.
The hydraulic lift optimizes space

Hydraulic installations allow space to be optimised without limiting the installation of the lift or elevator , as the central unit can be located inside a cabinet (anywhere in the building within a radius of approximately 20 m) or in the pit itself (MRL), thus replacing the traditional machine room . As it does not require a counterweight and thanks to the reduced dimensions of the piston, the cabin gains in size without taking up additional space.
Reduction in the cost of the shaft where the elevator is installed
In the case of the electric lift, the forces and tensions caused by the motor are transmitted to the base of the building through the walls of the shaft. This overload requires the structure of the shaft to be reinforced with a concrete formwork cube, increasing its installation cost. The advantage of the hydraulic lift is that the forces and tensions caused by the piston are transmitted directly to the base of the building without causing an overload of the structure of the building. Consequently, the shaft only requires a simple solid brick wall: thus reducing its installation cost and increasing its degree of adaptability to existing homes (as it does not require such a complex installation).
Locate a hydraulic elevator outside the building in a structure
The option offered by hydraulic lifts is to attach a lightweight, self-supporting metal structure to the building (which can be located either inside or outside the home). This again translates into lower installation costs .
